Our Story
Why we started
Romas Marcin founded Fundamental Fungi in 2024 out of frustration. He took functional mushrooms every day, but the mushroom gummies on the market kept letting him down. Most tasted terrible, and the quality control behind them wasn't close to what you'd expect from other industries.
So he set out to make the gummy he wanted to take himself: one that tastes good, uses real mushroom extract, and is made to a higher standard. He still takes Fundamental Fungi every day.
Why gummies
Capsules can be a chore, and mushroom powders taste, well, like mushrooms. A gummy you enjoy is a gummy you remember to take. That's why we put real mushroom extract into a tasty, vegan gummy: Lion's Mane for your morning and Cordyceps for your afternoon.
What we stand for
- Fruiting body only. We use extract from the mushroom itself, never mycelium grown on grain, and never fillers.
- Concentrated extract. Our extracts are concentrated 8:1, so every gummy delivers the equivalent of 1,000mg of whole mushroom.
